03/12/2007 : Christmas Shutdown 2007

Vtech SMT Ltd will be closed from 3.00pm on Monday 24th December 2007 untill 8.45am on Thursday 3rd January 2008.

During this time if you require anything urgently please continue to call our office number (01786 813999) as it will still be possible to speak to someone during this period.

07/11/2007 : Productronica 2007

Ronnie Hetman, Derek Walker, Malcolm Nichols and Ian Horsnell will all be at this years Productronica Exhibition between the 14th and 16th of November 2007. Although Vtech SMT Ltd are not direclty exhibiting this year you will be able to catch up with any of our staff over these three days as they mix between many of our Business Partners stands, and also take the time to visit some potential Business Partners stands.

24/09/2007 : Happy Birthday Vtech

Vtech Celebrates a Milestone!

Vtech SMT Ltd has now been trading for 10 years this month. It seems like only yesterday that the company was founded with the aim of providing practical solutions and excellent service to the Electronics Industry.

10 years on the the aim remains the same, although the goal posts have shifted significantly (The downturn in UK based Electronics).

However, We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Customers and Suppliers that have been with us from the start, and also thanks to all the new Customers and Suppliers we have met along the way.

We'll see you in 10 years for our 20th!

Vtech SMT Ltd has been awarded Investors In People Accreditation.

After maintaining and improving upon our performance which initially saw us gain Investors In People Accreditation back in 2004, Vtech SMT Ltd is proud to be able to announce that we have retained our Investors In People Standard.

This Standard will help our organisation to improve performance and realise objectives through the management and development of our staff, And in turn the benefits of this will passed on to our customers through happy and capable staff, willing to help and eager to learn.

Vtech SMT Ltd Exhibit at Nepcon 2007.

Vtech SMT Ltd are just back from another very succesful trip to Nepcon at the Birmingham NECC.

To all the people we met while we were exhibiting we would just like to say Thank you for taking the time to speak with us, and hopefully we will be able to help your business in some capacity in the near future.

I would also like to take this oppertunity to say that if you did not catch us at this years show we would like to invite you to joins us at Nepcon 2008, which will be taking place at the Birmingham NECC between the 29th April and 1st May 2008.

21/09/2007 : ISO 14001:2004

Vtech SMT Ltd have been awarded ISO 14001:2004 Accreditation.

Over the past year Vtech SMT Ltd have been working towards gaining our ISO 14001:2004 Accreditation.

ISO 14001 specifies in detail the requirements for an environmental management system. The environmental aspects that are within the control and influence of an organisation, from energy consumption to waste disposal to modes of transport for staff, are all covered by the standard.

This accreditation coincides with the ISO 9001:2000 certifications that Vtech SMT Ltd obtained back in 2004.

Vtech SMT Ltd is a company which is committed to reducing it's carbon footprint, and hopefully the things we have learned in gaining these accreditations will help us do so.
